Jackson Memorial Hospital
Focus: Reality Capture + Digital Construction (VDC + MEP/FP Modeling)
Challenges:
Jackson Hospital had a need to renovate their Central Sterile Services Building. With actively used space, speed is a must. Our working hours were reduced to half time.
Scope of Work:
Specialized equipment was utilized to survey above-ceiling systems across 100,000 sqft in various areas. The work was conducted during after-hours (4-5 hours per night over 5 nights). To expedite the process, our team deployed 3 scanners simultaneously. In addition to the survey, we provided LOD 350 BIM modeling and coordination for mechanical systems, along with the preparation of installation drawings.
Results:
Full color HD Point Clouds in RCS and LGS format.
LOD 350 Revit MEP Models.
Views/Sheets creation in Revit PDF.
New Royal Adelaide Hospital
Focus: Digital Construction
(MEP/FP Modeling)
Challenges:
This project involved a 1,700,000 sq. ft. facility, marking the client’s first experience with BIM. It was a design-build project with aggressive timelines, managed by a joint venture. Coordination was particularly challenging due to the involvement of three different remote offices working together.
Scope of Work:
Voyansi took on the role of BIM lead for the joint venture, transforming existing AutoCAD standards into Revit. We provided comprehensive BIM support and training, dedicating a total of 45,000 hours to BIM modeling and documentation.
Results:
As a result of our efforts, the client has decided to implement BIM on future projects. The introduction of work sharing across the remote offices not only enhanced collaboration but also led to significant time and cost savings.
